Huntington Beach, California. With 8.5 miles of beautiful beach (including a dog beach) and first class waves, it is a beautiful destination for both locals and tourists alike.
I was born a stones throw away in Newport Beach, but it’s been years since i’ve been back in the area. This trip was extra special because I was accompanied by my mother, brother, and his dog. It was the first trip of its kind, with all of us together as adults.
This was also my brothers first time taking his dog on a trip. She (Bebo) had just finished her overnight training and did so good! Bebo loved the beach and was so excited to play with all of the other dogs there. While my brother was hesitant to let her roam with out her leash, it seemed that she was much more trained than most of the dogs there.
This roll was easy. Effortless to shoot. I suppose it’s no surprise that when surrounded by such beauty, a roll of film goes quick! It also helped that we were incredibly blessed with good weather in January. 60 degrees and clear skies. I’m currently writing this in 30 degree Pennsylvania weather, with snow on the floor. I can nearly feel the warmth from the pictures themselves. Or maybe that’s just my computer screen haha!
