This time last year, I had the pleasure of taking a lil trip down to Longwood Gardens. It was 4th of July, hot, humid, and full of people, but it was still easy to escape into the overwhelming beauty of the gardens.
After being closed for a few months to help stop the spread of COVID-19, Longwood Gardens is open to visitors again! While I look forward to returning to the gardens sooner than later, I have these pictures and my memories to cherish in the meantime.
As per most of my excursions, my boyfriend was with me! I take great joy in taking his picture when he’s not looking. I take even greater joy in making him pose for me. He’s handsome, and I get to practice portraits, so it’s a win/win! ๐
I even built up the courage to ask some fellow tourists to take our photo. They seemed pretty confused when I passed them my film camera, but they did a great job!
Interested in checking out Longwood Gardens for yourself? Make sure you check out the latest guidelines before your visit. Don’t forget to purchase your timed tickets online, apply some SPF, wear a mask, and do your best to maintain social distance with others while enjoying a stroll through these beautiful gardens!
