Hello again! It’s been a few months, but I’m back with another blog post for y’all. Lately, it’s been difficult to stick to a routine, as i’m sure most reading this will be able to understand. Back in March of this year, COVID-19 took my routine and threw it out the window!
In times of uncertainty, a routine can provide a sense of peace, of comfort, of constant. At the beginning of this, it was quite difficult for me to start new routines. I was easy on myself, as living through a pandemic is no easy feat. Some days were spent in bed, and that’s fine!
Even on the days where I wanted to do nothing, I would try to push myself to get out and take a walk. These walks resulted in these photographs, a new routine, and a new sense of peace. Southside Easton at Sunset, ever-changing sights, but always there. The guarantee of beauty to meet you at the end of every day, despite what your day may have looked like.
Shoutout to this man, my constant, for pushing me to take walks when I did not want to. And for always standing + posing for me when I ask him to. Thank you Christopher! 🙂
As usual, no edits, no filters, straight from the roll, film magic.
All images taken by myself, Shelby Ringer, on my Olympus Trip 35 with Fujifilm 400iso.
Thanks for looking!
